For
children who are in first through sixth grade, there
are numerous activities that will help your child grow in
Christ and have fun at the same time. The activities
that are listed below are only offered during certain times
of the year so please check the
EVENT CALENDAR or call the church at 316-778-1001 for
additional information.
Below
are a list of activities for children who are in
Kindergarten through sixth grade:

Vacation Bible School:
This
event is held during the summer and includes games, arts and
crafts, snacks, singing and learning the Word of God. |

After School Program:
The
After School Program group has been working on sewing
projects during the month of February. Each child is
making a puppet. It makes a fun project that allows
them to have a neat toy at the end and at the same time
learn some basic sewing skills. We'll continue with
this project and have some fun making some plays with our
puppets once they are complete.
We've
talked some about how God calls us to love each other and we
have read in the Bible about how we are to love, not just
those who love us and are kind to us, but that we are called
to show love and compassion especially to those who don't
give it back. In February we will discuss God's love
for us and our love for each other. |

Sunday School:
Sunday
School for this age group is every Sunday morning from 10:00
am to 10:45 am. |

Children's Church:
Children's Church for this age group is every Sunday morning
from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. |
